Angie Harris was born and raised in Georgetown, she is married with 2 children and spent her childhood days in Glen Williams. She is a volunteer with the Halton Hills Hawks House league, and works at Howse Automotive in Georgetown. Angie’s daughter Abby was a gymnast at HHGC from 2009 – 2018 as a recreational gymnast and eventually gravitated to competitive trampoline which she did for 4 of those years. Angie is a huge supporter of kids with exceptionalities and has a strong focus on inclusiveness, as these are things that are near and dear to her heart. Both of Angie’s kids are very active in sports within the community. Angie is very active in the Georgetown community and brings a wealth of knowledge and support to the board as the vice chair.
Lindsay Green is a designated accountant. She resides in Guelph and has worked in Georgetown for over seven years at GBA LLP (formerly Buttle & Tavano Professional Corporation). As a senior accountant, she currently specializes in assurance engagements including audits and reviews. Being employed at a public accounting firm has allowed her to obtain experience dealing with not-for-profit organizations. This experience will be an asset to HHGC. Growing up playing team sports, she has a great appreciation for the impact it has in childhood development. She is excited to be joining HHGC as the Treasurer and Board Member.
Angela is a CPA, CGA. With 20 years of experience in accounting and tax, she enjoys helping small-medium business owners meet their objectives through a personalized, customer service focused approach.
Angela and her family live in Georgetown. Angela’s interests include traveling, bike riding and being involved with her children, from extra-curricular activities with the kids, to being an active member of the Parent Council their school. Angela has a strong sense of community and she along with her family enjoy participating in local events that support the local community and charities.
Susan Doyle Sazar
Susan Doyle is a proven non-profit leader with over 17 years of experience in various community settings and recipient of several significant community leadership awards.
Susan lives in Georgetown with her family, one of her daughters has taken part in several of our kinder-programs over the past couple of years. Susan has been the Executive Director of Lumacare for the past 7 years, and has recently been named the CEO. Lumacare is an organization that provides a diverse range of over 15 essential programs and services, both in the home and the community of North York to older adults and seniors. Susan promotes transparency and responsiveness to the 500+ staff and volunteers of Lumacare; as well as, community stakeholders, funders, and delegates. She is system driven and efficiency-focused. She is a fundamental firm believer that successful organizations can only accomplish great things by having a great team.
Susan graduated from York University with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology, Women, and Gender Studies; and again with a Bachelor of Social Work Honours degree. Susan went on to study Research and Statistics at the University of Windsor and later graduated with a Master of Social Work Honours degree at the University of Windsor.
She also completed a series of relevant certifications including from the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management and Harvard University, Kennedy School. Susan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board.
Emma is an independent and motivated social advocate who is passionate about helping youth achieve their highest potential. Known for a reputation of being effective in a fast paced, multi-tasking, environment where her communication skills and perseverance distinguish her as a natural leader.
Emma is a long-time Georgetown resident where she grew up and attended Georgetown District High School. She is very familiar with the recreational and competitive sports opportunities for youth in this town. Her daughters both participate in competitive Irish dance which gives her first-hand exposure and appreciation for both the benefits of sport for youth as well as the parent’s commitment needed to adequately support their athlete.
Emma has done extensive volunteer work with community groups, parents, teachers, school co-ordinators and others to actively support the needs of youth. She is an active proponent of the development of youth leadership, mentorship and coaching.
Emma is currently a realtor for Royal LePage Meadowtowne Realty, Brokerage and has been in the real estate business for over 12 years
Frank is a married, Christian father of two beautiful girls and resides in Halton Hills. He has spent 30 years of his career in the security and investigations field, currently as a Corporate Investigator, specializing in fraud and integrity investigations. He has a diploma in Law and Security from Sault College (the “Soo”, where he was born and raised) and completed various courses at the Ontario and Canadian Police Colleges.
Before his girls decided to pursue gymnastics, Frank coached their softball teams. He enjoys being active in the community and is a co-chair on parent council at his children’s school.
One of Frank’s passions is photography but you may also see him biking around town or running a rack of pool! He hopes his career and life experiences will bring a different perspective to the board and help HHGC continue to be a vital part of the Halton Hills community.
